
As part of the nationwide efforts to strengthen youth entrepreneurship following the Youth Day meeting chaired by the President of Uzbekistan, promising startups from across the Samarkand region had the opportunity to present their projects directly to the Hokim of Samarkand Region, Adiz Boboyev.
The open dialogue, held at the Youth Creative Park, brought together 30 young founders, innovators, and entrepreneurs representing various districts of the region. The meeting focused on showcasing innovative solutions across key sectors, including information technology, artificial intelligence, agriculture, green economy, education, and social innovation.
During the session, startup teams introduced their products and business ideas, receiving direct feedback and recommendations on product development, commercialization strategies, investment readiness, and scaling opportunities. The discussion also highlighted ways to strengthen collaboration between startups, investors, mentors, and regional institutions to accelerate the growth of the local innovation ecosystem.
The meeting reflects the ongoing commitment to creating favorable conditions for early-stage founders and supporting the commercialization of innovative ideas. Regional authorities reaffirmed their intention to continue developing Samarkand's startup ecosystem by expanding access to mentorship, investment opportunities, and international markets.

Relevant stakeholders were tasked with reviewing the initiatives and supporting their implementation, reinforcing Samarkand's ambition to become an increasingly vibrant hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
