About the startup

LexAI is a legal chatbot presented by the Ministry of Justice (ai.lex.uz). It draws on the National Legislation Database and answers questions from citizens and lawyers. It launched in test mode in January 2025. Planned features include a document builder and analysis of draft regulations.

Problem

Citizens find it hard to navigate legislation and locate the relevant rule, and legal advice is not always accessible.

Solution

The chatbot gives fast, free answers to legal questions from the legislation base, with self-service document drafting planned.
