About the startup

Click is an Uzbek payment system operating since 2011. Via its app, Telegram bot and USSD it offers card-to-card transfers, utility, mobile, fine and QR payments and more. A merger with the Uzum group was announced in 2023, and it became a super-app in 2024.

Problem

Before 2011, digital payments barely existed in Uzbekistan; payments relied mostly on cash and physical counters.

Solution

Click lets users pay and transfer money remotely from bank cards and lets businesses accept online and offline payments.

Business model

Revenue comes mainly from payment commissions charged to merchants and service providers.
